Hey Everyone
Another SDCC has wrapped and as exhausted as I am, I would do it all over again. I spend pretty much most of the show behind my table so I don’t get to see too much of the show itself but walking the floor pre-show there were some pretty cool booths and displays.
It’s my favorite (and best) show of the year mostly because I get to catch up and hang out with creators friends that live across the country and world. It’s pretty much the only time we’re in the same room.
Before we get to the pics, I gotta do the obligatory Kickstarter rundown…
We’re halfway through the campaign for Monster Matador: Blood of the Matador #1-3 (PLUS, the Once Upon Some Monsters in Mexico TPB) and are about $750 to hitting our first stretch goal. The sooner we get there the sooner we can chase more. If you’re planning on backing… there’s no better time than now. We still have some cool add-ons available as well.
Join the Monster Matador as he fights kaiju! Pledge HERE:
And now for some SDCC pics:
That’s me, Clay Adams (Fried Comics), Charlie Stickney and Conor Hughes (White Ash), Dave Schrader (Bloodline Comics), Mercy: In Prison artist Mick Beyers (McComics) and Barbra Dillon (Fanbase Press).
Jacob Lyngle of Kaiju United.
Love this Bart Simpson cosplay!
Amazing voice actor, Zehra Fazal who is currently killing it as the White Queen on X-Men ‘97
Ernie Altbacker and Josh White of Area 51 Studios fame. Ernie wrote the Kevin Smith mobile game that was announced Saturday (as well as a whole bunch of DC Animated movies) and was kind enough to invite me to the party.
Have a great week,
Steve
